About Jasmine STA013879
Meet Jasmine, a uniquely gentle soul with a reserved yet endearing personality. This special lady came into our care and was placed into foster care, where she was given the opportunity to raise her young family in a calm environment, nurturing them until they were old enough to find homes of their own. While Jasmine hasn't had much exposure to human love in her past, she's steadily blooming in her own time and requires a quiet, peaceful home that can offer her the patience and kindness she needs.
Despite her initial hesitations around direct interaction like patting or brushing, Jasmine is slowly learning to trust those around her. This quiet lady values her exploration time to acquaint herself with her surroundings, often choosing to sit nearby, signaling her acceptance of your company. Over time, and at her own pace, she reveals her gentle personality, perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of quietly earned friendship.
In addition to her independence, Jasmine has a few charming quirks. Her preferred food flavors are seafood-based, with tuna treats being one of her rare indulgences. She loves a good cat tree perch, scratching posts, and especially enjoys eyeing the world from her elevated vantage point. Playtime is another joyful aspect of her day, as she finds amusement in chasing string toys through her favorite cat tunnel. She's particularly fond of toys that make sounds as they skid across tile floors.
Jasmine is looking for a special home without children or canines, where sudden movements are few, and her environment remains consistently calm and predictable. If you have a tranquil home and a patient heart, Jasmine may just be the perfect companion, bringing understated joy and loyalty to your life once she feels settled and secure.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
