About Possum
Possum was found wandering alone in a national park and was brought to safety by some kind-hearted staff. When she first arrived, she was understandably scared and uncertain about her new environment.
Though still a little timid, Possum is beginning to trust, thanks to the gentle care and patience of the shelter team. She’s making steady progress, and with a loving, patient owner, she’ll continue to come out of her shell. All she really needs is a bit of time and some TLC.
She's come to enjoy gentle pats and cuddles and hanging out with her human friends and watching the world go by from her window perch.
Possum is generally found snuggled in a blanket or perched on her scratching pole. We believe she could do well with a calm feline companion, especially one who might help her feel more confident. A slow introduction would be essential to keep them safe.
For her safety and comfort, Possum will need to be in an indoor-only home where she can feel secure as she continues to blossom.
