About Millie
Millie is a sweet little eight month old puppa of a small Kelpie cross. She does love to share a bed with a four legged friend (whether they like it or not, this provided comedy gold for her foster mum watching the three dogs find their place in which bed, her dogs are very forgiving.)
She is incredibly timid initially and every time her FM (foster mum) went out, it was like a surprise and Millie would give a few barks to let her know there was a stranger danger. A few reassuring words and she'd remember herself.
She loves to eat anything and can be a cheeky thief if you leave anything unattended or on a surface. But she has a gentle nature, and she really absolutely wants to be your best friend. If you give her some cuddles she is absolutely yours all over.
Millie hasn't demonstrated some usual Kelpie X traits and she seems very happy to follow her role models and sloth around a bit.
She has been getting some leash training by exposure therapy; leaving a rope tied to her collar etc because she freezes when a leash goes on at the time of writing this.
Hopefully this has made good progress or is resolved before she goes to her new furever home.
