Hello! My name is Shalom, but my Foster Mumma calls me Shay. I’m sweet, soft natured, playful and affectionate. A bit of an all-rounder you might say! I can be slightly shy when meeting new people, but grab a toy to play with me and I’ll be your sidekick in no time.

I’m a very well behaved gal, who enjoys a morning play and breakfast, but I will then snooze the day away. My favourite nap spot is in my bed next to my Foster Dad while he works.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with my foster brother, a 9 year old human boy, who loves to play with me and picks me up for cuddles. So as long as kids are gentle with me, I really like them.

I’m very happy having both cats and dogs as my companions, however a slow introduction is always ideal to give me time to get to know them.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food, exploring, affection and snoozing! I also love being around people, but I’m also happy to nap if you go out. I enjoy my other kitty companions, so another feline in the home would be ideal for me.

There’s not much I don’t like, however loud noises may scare me. I also prefer people who will give me a few minutes to get to know them before they pick me up.

My PURR-fect home would be in most households. Being a pretty easy going gal, I would suit a variety of environments. However, a home where I have company, toys to play with, and lots of love is where I will be happy!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Shalom is being treated for Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. She can go to her new home with treatment provided by the rescue, and will need to be taken for a clearance vet appointment when treatment has finished.
