About Red Claw
Meet Red claw - The Sweetheart with a Splash of Spice! 🦞
Say hello to Red claw, a stunning 4-year-old brindle and white beauty who's landed at the shelter through no fault of her own. Despite her name, there's nothing crabby about this girl - she's all heart and ready to claw her way into yours (with love, of course)!
Red claw is a dog-social sweetheart, currently thriving with another easy-going, dog-friendly pal. If you already share your home with a solid, super-friendly respectful and social dog, she could be the perfect companion. She's also well-suited to a family with kids aged 6+, or really anyone who wants a loyal, gentle, and fun-loving best friend.
What makes Red claw a total catch?
🦴 Great on lead - no tug-of-war here!
🧠 Loves both exercise and mental games - keep her brain busy and her tail wagging.
👨👩👧👦 Ready to join a single, couple, family or even a fit older person looking for a dedicated sidekick.
🐾 All-round good girl - affectionate, calm, and easily entertained.
She might be named Red claw, but we promise she's more cuddle than crustacean. She's not been shell-shocked by life's recent changes and has taken all in her sideways stride. She's ready to grab all life has to offer by the claws and be your ride-or-die.
So don't be shellfish - come meet Red claw today!
She's lobster-ly adorable, and just waiting to be the pearl in your family's oyster.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
