About Bronx
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Children over the age of 12
Meet Bronx - A larger-than-life and energetic buddy who still loves his down time!
Bronx is a 4-year-old people-lover with a big heart and an even bigger personality! He’s the kind of dog who lights up a room with his excitement and charm. Whether it’s cuddle time or walk time, Bronx is all in – especially when it's time for walkies. Expect a bit of bounce – from morning kisses with his snoot to his excited dance when he sees you return home or take out cheese.
Around the house, Bronx likes to keep tabs on everything. He’s curious, social, and loves knowing what his people are up to. He’ll follow you from room to room, just to make sure he doesn’t miss out on anything important… like snacks or the chance for a pat. But he's also a typical greyhound who enjoys his naps on the couch.
He’s a playful guy who loves toys and gets along well with his foster brother. On walks, Bronx can be strong on the lead and quite interested in other dogs and humans – we’re helping him refine his “calm, cool and collected” look. But his enthusiasm is all part of his zest for life. Bronx is curious around little humans (children) and likes to go up for a sniff and pat, but we think it's best he reserves his bounce for humans that are taller than him.
Bronx does have a cheeky side – he sometimes helps himself to things that aren’t technically his (socks, tea towels, you name it) - he thinks he's “helping with the laundry.” Despite his cheek, Bronx is always happy to hand these over once caught or if given a warning.
Bronx is fine being left at home for periods of time but just expect a big welcome when you return.
We think that Bronx is the kind of 4-legged buddy you could bring to the pub for a drink and chinwag with! He’d thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention, stimulation, and a bit of patience as he continues learning good manners.
If you’re after a buddy with energy, love, and personality in spades – Bronx could be your guy!
