About Sonny
Hi, I’m Sonny – I’m a Kelpie boy and, according to my foster mum, I’m the best buddy anyone can ask for.
I’m super cuddly and love being around people – I’ll happily follow you around the house or curl up near you for a nap. I’ve lived with older kids in foster care and I’m amazing with them – gentle, playful and happy to just be part of the gang.
I’m fairly good on leash, I’m house trained, and I sleep soundly in my crate overnight. I already know a few things like sit, down, touch and leave it – and I love learning new tricks, especially when food’s involved. I’m still practicing my recall in different environments, and with a little practice I’ll learn it in no time.
I enjoy long walks, a good game of tug or chasing a ball, but I’m not over the top and have a good off-switch. I’d do best in an active home with people who’ll keep up my training and give me a job to do – I’m a wonderful running buddy and enjoy being your loyal little shadow on your day-to-day.
I get along well with other dogs and have good communication skills. Once I’ve had a minute to warm up, I enjoy a good play and can live happily with a doggy mate. Or I’d be just as happy being the only dog, as long as my humans are around more often than not.
If you’re after a sweet, clever, and loving companion who’s keen to be part of the family, I could be your guy.
Sonny is located in NSW.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
