About Cleo
🌸🏠🌸NSW/ACT: COULD YOU BE CLEO'S FOREVER FAMILY?🌸🏠🌸
Cleo is an affectionate (nearly eight year old), intelligent girl who loves her daily routine, her toys, and most importantly her humans.
She’s house-trained, has beautiful household manners, and prefers relaxing indoors with occasional sunbathing sessions out in the garden. A true companion, she thrives on being near her people and keeping a gentle eye on everything you do.🐶
Since arriving in care, Cleo’s been working on addressing her fear-based behaviours, including separation anxiety and dog reactivity. With lots of love, training, and anxiety medication, she’s come a long way, and she’ll keep improving in a stable, patient home.
💖 Cleo loves calm company, casual strolls, and structured routines. She would do best in a quiet home where she’s the only pet, and someone is around most of the time. She’s responsive to treat-based training and is showing great progress on walks.
🏡 Cleo’s Ideal Home: ✔️ A calm and consistent environment ✔️ No other dogs or pets in the home ✔️ Someone home more often than not ✔️ A family committed to continuing her training.
🩺 Cleo's ongoing needs include her daily anxiety tablet, a Synovan injection every three months and a daily Glyde chew to keep her joints feeling their best.
Like with all our rescues, we know there is a family out there that would be prepared to provide Cleo with a loving home.❤️
