About Mozzarella
Mozzarella is a gorgeous Beagle boy with a heart full of love and a nose that never quits! True to his breed, he's obsessed with sniffing out every scent trail he can find and will happily spend his walks with his nose to the ground, tail wagging in concentration.
He's a calm and gentle soul who's built a strong bond with his fellow Beagles at the shelter. While he's still a bit unsure around other dogs, he's slowly gaining confidence and would do best in a home where any resident dogs are calm and respectful-or even as your one and only if you're happy to be his best mate.
Mozzarella loves his people deeply and tends to look to them for comfort when he's feeling unsure. He has shown some signs of separation anxiety, so he'd be best suited to a home with part-time workers or someone who's home often to give him the company and reassurance he craves.
Not particularly toy-driven, Mozzarella is all about the snacks. He's highly food-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for ongoing training and confidence-building. He walks nicely on lead and enjoys a good stroll where he can take in all the world's interesting smells.
He could live with a cat friend, though he tends to avoid them at first-so any introductions should be slow and steady to help him feel comfortable.
If you're after a calm, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side, Mozzarella might just be your perfect match.
