About Annie
Annie is one of our Chinchilla 70+ mums and can I just say her weirdness was inherited by her kittens, Phobe and Chandler. They are a very dysfunctional family genetically.
Annie has Caudal Stomaititis, it's a dental disease that makes her own immune system go to war with the plaque on her teeth however her variant is the less understood version where the immflamtion only appears at the back of her throat instead of around the teeth.
The typical treatment is full mouth extractions, but it's not likely to work with the location of her inflammation. I dont believe we need to take that risk with her yet while she can eat well.
My own personal cat has this condition and it can be a little distressing for the owner, but it's manageable through good dental hygiene and steroids.
Potentially the immflamtion may never get worse and after 7 months of unchanging condition since she arrived I think Anine deserves a chance at finding a real loving home and not stay here forever.
The important thing is she eats with enthusiasm and enjoys life. Her coat might be a bit gross from lack of grooming, but she likes sitting in the sun and spending time with her relatives.
Annie is living her 'normal' cat life.
She has a quiet temperament and she is soft natured with no malice. She gets along fine with other cats and would be fine in most homes.
We will help with Anne's medical expenses so it would preferred if you lived near one of our 2 vets in Biloela or Brisbane.
Annie is desexed, vaccinated twice, microchipped, FIV/FELV tested and parasite treated.
She needs some loving and quality time.
Transport can be arranged around QLD.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
