About Luna
Meet Luna!
😍 She's a gorgeous mixed-breed pup – we're guessing she'll grow into a beautiful medium to large girl, maybe with some clever Labrador smarts or even a touch of gentle Mastiff grace in her lineage? Who knows for sure, but goodness, just look at those unique markings!
At around four months old, she's got that perfect blend of calm contemplation and a delightful dash of puppy sass.
🧠 Super playful and smart as a whip.
🏡 A little hesitant at first with new things, but she quickly melts into new situations with a wagging tail.
💖 Loves a gentle pat and is an absolute pro at snuggles.
😴 Happy to chill on her own for short stints (especially if a nap is involved!).
😬 Warning: comes with adorable (and sometimes sharp) puppy teeth – she's still learning the ropes of polite play, bless her cotton socks!
🚪 Mastered the doggy door (even if it's the flap-less kind for now).
🐶 When meeting new doggy pals, she might do a little 'grrr-hello' before quickly deciding it's playtime.
🚽 Toilet training is, well, a 'work in progress' – but she's a clever cookie, so we're sure she'll ace it with consistency!
This little ray of sunshine has had her first vaccination and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $625, which includes her desexing at one of our partner Vets when she's around six months old. Please note, future vaccinations will be the responsibility of her forever family.
Luna is currently enjoying all the comforts of foster care in Alderly, near Brisbane.
She will be ready to sprinkle her magic in her forever home in about a week's time so, we're officially opening up expressions of interest for families eager to meet this beautiful girl.

At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
