About Morris - 2 Year Old Dachshund
Meet Morris – Your Loyal Dapple Dachshund Sidekick!
Morris is a 2-year-old dapple Dachshund with a heart full of love! Sweet, cuddly, and happiest snuggled up in a blanket. Morris thrives on companionship and loves being around his people.
He can take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he does, he’s all about cuddles, face scratches, and belly rubs. Your lap will quickly become his favorite place.
Morris has great recall off-lead, is very food-motivated, and is slowly starting to enjoy toys. He would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, or someone who can take him to work. He’s the perfect apprentice and adventure buddy.
If he is going to be left at home, Morris is best suited as an indoor dog with another companion. He can become anxious when left alone, often trying to find his person, so a supportive environment is key. He will also benefit from training and consistent boundaries around barking, especially as he settles into a new routine.
Morris gets along well with other friendly dogs (male and female), and just needs a little patience and structure to help him continue growing in confidence. He’ll also need a slow feeder, this boy loves his food!
If you're looking for a devoted sidekick with a big heart, and a love for adventure, Morris is your guy.
Morris is in foster care in Waratah West, NSW. His adoption fee is $800, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, worms & ticks.
