Rivera (AKA Jimmy)

Hi there, I am a bit of a shy guy, but I will do my best to introduce myself.
My name is Rivera, but my friends just call me Jimmy. Apparently when I went to my foster home, they thought I couldn’t hear them because I didn’t answer to my name but the minute they said “Jimmy” I spun around. They think that my name might have even been Jimmy in the past, but nobody really knows for sure.
I am still very young, my second birthday is coming up next week so I have a whole lifetime ahead of me.
I was surrendered to the pound but it was very scary there and I didn’t cope well at all so the lovely staff asked KPR if they could bust me out. Thankfully they said yes and after a bit of a road trip, I was safe and sound in my new foster home.
It is much nicer here than at the pound. The food is good and there are laps to sit on, and I even have doggie friends to play with.
Confession time, my foster mum even lets me sleep in the human bed and I loooooove that sooooooooo much!
I would love for my furever family to have a doggie sibling for me to play with. I feel much more confident when I have a friend by my side. I would like it if my humans were around more often than not too.
I have not had much experience with little kids, but I know that I would prefer a home without the chaos of little ones as that might be a bit too much for me. A calm environment, especially whilst I am settling in, would be awesome.
If you are wondering my breed, my microchip says that I am a Shih Tzu, and my vet work says that I am a Poodle cross so read into that what you want. I’m small, need regular grooming and weigh around 6.5kg.
