About Cowboy Carter
Cowboy Carter is an adorable chubby 'cow cat'. He and his sisters, Dolly and Jolene, came to us from a regional pound without their mum, sick and fluey, but after plenty of TLC they’ve grown into healthy, happy and playful kittens.
True to his name, Cowboy Carter is the adventurous one of his litter. Brave, curious and always ready to explore something new. He’s also very sweet and cuddly, though not quite as pushy for attention as his sisters, which means he sometimes gets overlooked at cuddle time. But don’t let that fool you - he loves affection and will happily settle in for some cuddle time.
Cowboy Carter is a beautiful mix of playful and gentle and would make a wonderful family member for anyone looking for a sweet boy with a quiet confidence. If you’re ready to give this little fella the loving home he deserves, he’ll be your best bud for life.
Cowboy Carter would love to find a forever home with one of his sisters Jolene (F) or Dolly (F). Alternatively, he will need a home with a friendly resident cat for companionship.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
