Chocolate is a sweet and sensitive girl who needs a calm, understanding home to help her feel safe and secure. She came into care via ambulance and has taken some time to settle, but with gentle reassurance, her affectionate and playful side has started to shine through.

Chocolate can be easily overwhelmed in large or unfamiliar spaces, so she must start off in a small launch room and be allowed to explore gradually at her own pace. She loves having plenty of safe spaces-scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, and access to high perches like shelves or dressers are essential to help her feel at home.

She enjoys wand toys, climbing her scratch pole, and especially loves her food-fishy flavours are her favourite! Chocolate is cat-social and may enjoy a friendly feline companion if introduced properly. She may also do okay with a calm, respectful dog with slow, monitored introductions.

She would do best with patient adopters and teens who can read her body language and know when to give her space. With time and love, Chocolate will become a wonderful and loyal companion.
