Meet Patroclus- a kind hearted ball of love, brains and fun

Hi, my names Patroclus but my foster fam calls me Patty and "Oi don't do that", "ah ah" and "maaaaate"

I've been learning the way of the world from my big foster sister and would love a companion of a similar size and energy to me. In saying that I'm ok home alone for periods of the day and I am not crazy destructive. But I'm very young so the destructiveness may come later and I probably would prefer not to be alone for too long at a time

I quite like my walks but being a high energy herding breed I sometimes get excited and barky when I want to play and chase things.

I'm very smart. In a short period my foster mum has taught me to sit, wait, drop, come, touch, shake paws, wait for food, use a doggy door, sleep in a crate and I very rarely have accidents in the house. My foster mum says this is the fastest she has ever toilet trained a puppy. I even got to go to a puppy class at an obedience school and I loved it!!!. Being a working breed I think I'm going to need to work my mind regularly. I've already had a go at agility class and thought that was pretty fun. I love chasing balls and playing with toys but my foster mum says I have to be careful not to get too obsessed.

Once I've used my brain and got some energy out I'll spend the rest of the day snoozing and cuddling. I sleep in my crate all night but I would much rather sleep on you.

I love all people and will make an excellent addition to any household that will meet the needs of my huge, growing brain. I will do best if I can be part of an active life
