Nature
Fonzie is a beautiful boy with a laid back personality. He loves cuddles and playtime but also like to bask in the sun and soak up the rays. He loves his food and will always ask you from yours, no matter what it is!

He loves playtime and prefers to play with humans rather than on his own, but is more than happy chasing a ball around! He adores being carried on your shoulder and is such a loving boy without being too needy as he does like his own space. If you like an affectionate cat look no further!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Fonzie likes being the centre of attention but could live with a another cat or two without issue! Just keep their food out of his sight!

Likes / Dislikes
Fonzie loves anyone who will give him attention and love but can be quite timid and wary at first with new people. Like all cats, he can take a little time to adjust to surroundings and can get spooked by noises he's not used to, such as cars on the road or people walking by the house.

He loves sleeping at the end of your bed but is equally as happy sleeping in a their own cat bed especially if it's watching over you! He likes to sit and sleep anywhere places up high with a good view or his surroundings and with lots of sun!

Due to a past injury, Fonzie has mostly lost the use of his voice which means he can't meow properly and he is usually silent.

My PURR-fect home would be one that is quiet and with minimal disruptions. I'm happy with being left alone for most of the day as long as you provide cuddles and food when you return! Also a home with enough room for lots of zoomies and toys to play with!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Fonzie came to us with a wound under his armpit caused by a collar trapped under his front leg. This did not require surgery and has now fully healed.

Fonzie has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Fonzie has had all his teeth extracted except his canine teeth due to this condition.

Fonzie had cat flu, a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.

Fonzie has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV, Fonzie will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
