About Baxter - 20 Month Old Beagle
Baxter the Beagle is a 1 year and 8 months old boy, is in wonderful health, with the most beautiful velvety ears that top any other form of therapy!
Baxter is a devoted dog, happiest snoozing at your feet or playing a quick game of fetch (before more snoozing). He is great company and happy to join in with whatever you are doing.
Baxter is very gentle and interactive with children, as he has lived with children previously and is currently in care with a 4 year old and 7 year old. He would fit in well with a young family, but would equally enjoy someone retired with the occasional visit from the grandkids! Baxter would be happiest with someone who is home more often than not, especially to begin with as he does suffer with some separation anxiety.
Although he can be reactive with other dogs when on a lead- Baxter has gotten on well with any dog he has gotten to meet close up, so may thrive with a doggy friend to live with.
This handsome gentleman is toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Being a very intelligent boy, Baxter is coming leaps and bounds with basic training and has mastered sit, down, stay, come and leave. His favourite game is tug a war and fetch, and can't resist a teddy bear.
Baxter is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW. His adoption fee is $1100, and he is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and desexed.
