Age: Approx. 2 Years
Colour: Ginger and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
📍 Foster Home: Greystanes
Sweet, soft, and sensitive — Goldie is the kind of cat who may take a little time to trust you, but once he does, he’ll melt right into your heart. This gentle boy has come such a long way in foster care, learning that the world isn’t so scary when you’re surrounded by kindness, patience, and love.
Goldie is a true nap connoisseur — you’ll often find him lounging on the bed, snoozing on the couch, or gazing dreamily out the window watching the birds. He loves soft pats and scritches once he’s comfortable, and he’ll reward your patience with affection and quiet companionship.
He gets along beautifully with other cats, respectful dogs, and gentle children, but he may initially be shy around strangers. With a calm environment and humans who understand shy souls, Goldie will continue to blossom.
🐾 Goldie is:
✔️ Desexed, Vaccinated & Microchipped
✔️ Litter trained
✔️ Treated for flea & worm prevention
✔️ Cat, dog & child friendly (with time and gentle introductions)
✔️ Affectionate, calm, and ready to continue his journey into a loving forever home
Goldie has already overcome so much — he’s no longer the anxious boy he once was. What he needs now is someone who can offer him a safe space and a warm heart as he takes the final steps toward becoming a confident, happy cat.
💛 If you have the patience to let love grow and the space in your home for a peaceful, loyal companion, Goldie might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
