Hi there, I’m Chex – a gentle-hearted Maltese x Poodle with a soft coat and an even softer soul. At just under 2 years old, I’m still figuring out the world, and I’d love to do that in a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe and loved. I can be a bit shy and startle easily, so I’d do best with adults or older kids (12+), and I’m really hoping to be the only dog in your life – I haven’t had the best experiences with other pups so far. What I really need is someone who’s home most of the time, because being alone is still a bit scary for me.

I’m a sensitive little guy with a lot of love to give once I feel secure. A home with both indoor and outdoor access would help me feel more at ease, giving me the choice to find my own cozy spot. My coat does need regular grooming, but I think that’s a small price to pay for all the cuteness I bring! I may take a little time to open up, but with patience and kindness, I promise to be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for. If you’ve got a peaceful home and a big heart, I might just be your perfect match.
