• Recovering from bilateral femoral head ostectomy
Jamie is a friendly, loving boy who adores cuddles, belly rubs, and being close to his humans. Jamie has amazed everyone with his resilience and zest for life after undergoing bilateral femoral head ostectomy on both hips.
Jamie enjoys daily walks, gentle playful zoomies and toys, and loves exploring the park.
Jamie thrives with a canine company and gets along fine with dog savvy cats. He’s crate trained and is fully toilet trained. He’ll do best in a calm home with active semi-retirees or people home who can give him the companionship and supervision he needs. Due to his surgical history, he should be crated if left alone for more than two hours for his safety.
Jamie needs encouragement to finish his meals, he prefers small portions and eats best with someone nearby.
He’s not suited to homes with young children. Jamie can be startled by unfamiliar people or noises, occasionally barking at random sounds or rustling leaves.
If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and courageous little dog who will reward you with endless love, Jamie could be the perfect addition to your family.
