About Miss Olive
Olive is the most adorable kitty cat. From her cherubic face with button nose to her tidy little feet that sound like a herd of wild buffalo as she sprints round the house.
Olive adores pats and cuddles but on her terms ie when she’s toasty warm and snuggled up, or when there’s a meal on the cards.
Being tiny she does panic sometimes when a friendly hooman looms close but will happily and loudly purr while perched on the back of a chair receiving love (more on equal eye levels).
Olive will need to go to a home with a patient hooman and a resident cat. She’s very feline social and honestly who could resist her personality. It will also help her settle in as she is a shy girl until she’s comfortable and warms up. It would help if her new parent has experience with shy cats. Olive is an indoor cat only.
Olive spends her days (in order)
⁃ eating, big appetite for a little one, but she burns it all off with her energetic play
⁃ Playing, actually hiding under chairs, round corners, in boxes leaping out to surprise her feline friends
⁃ Galloping around at high speed including up and down stairs
⁃ Lounging in the sun watching birds.
⁃ Coercing her hooman to feed her by meowing loudly and rubbing herself on ankles and feet and guiding them gently to the fridge.
⁃ Sleeping - best time to love this little girl as she’s a snuggly and loves pats and cuddles. Currently Olive sleeps in the laundry with her foster siblings( they keep everyone awake at night by jumping on heads, if not shut away). But Olive would love to sleep in a bed and snuggle up.
Olive is a little gem of a cat and would make someone a wonderful loving companion with a bit of time and patience.
If this adorable girl sounds like your perfect match, send us an enquiry and the team will send an adoption application form to complete and return.

Adoption details
1. Initial email enquiry via Pet Rescue messaging system. *This email may go to your junk email folder.*
-Please do not enquire if you are only thinking about adopting - enquiring should only be done once you are 100% certain that you are going to go ahead with adopting.
2. Full application form required to be returned before Bast will contact a prospective adopter (check your messages / email / junk mailbox messages within 24 hours for the form).
-If we don't hear from you we may presume you are no longer interested, so please let us know if you have changed your mind, or adopted another kitty.
-Bast Team will only allow cats to be adopted who are given the best care, and this starts with their food. Our adopters must choose Vet food (Hills/ Royal Canin) only.
-Please ensure that you have written landlord approval to have a pet before enquiring.
-Please message us on the cat or cats you are interested in and we will ask you to fill in an adoption form and send it back to us, so we can get the relevant details from you.
3. Phone conversation IF your application has met the needs of this cat(s) from our team lead.
4. Meet and Greet with cat or kitten
5. Adoption (with trial period - contact Bast Team should there be any issues, even years in the future)
-All adoptions are subject to a settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, we ask you contact us, rather than dropping the kitties off at a shelter or another organisation.
Please note we are a volunteer run, small organisation so please be patient with us, and understand that with some of our kitties, we get several responses, and if you are not successful with a kitty you applied for, perhaps you are more suited to another of our kitties.
Thank you
Bast Team
