About Lolly
Meet Lolly - The Sweetest Whippet Mix You'll Ever Meet!
Age: 19 months | Breed: Whippet Mix | Location: BARC
Lady Lolly is truly as sweet as her name suggests. At just 19 months old, this gentle whippet mix has a heart full of love and a graceful charm that's impossible to resist. A sad but loving surrender brought her into the care of BARC, and now she's ready to find her forever home.
Although Lolly was dearly loved, her world has been small - she hasn't had much experience with the hustle and bustle of life outside the home. She's cautiously learning to embrace new experiences, and while she's made wonderful progress, she still needs time, support, and patience to truly blossom.
Lolly is looking for an inclusive and understanding home that will give her the space and encouragement to find her feet - one at a time, as they're right at the end of her very long legs! A calm environment with children aged 10 and up may be a great fit, especially since she has previously spent time with her owner's grandkids.
When it comes to other dogs, "Dog Social" could easily be her middle name! Lolly is confident and comfortable around dogs of all sizes, provided they know how to treat a lady with the grace she deserves. She could happily live with another gentle and well-mannered canine companion.
If you're looking for a loyal friend with a big heart, gentle soul, and elegant legs built for speed and snuggles, Lolly might just be your perfect match. She's ready to love - all she needs is someone ready to understand.
Could you be the one to help Lolly find her stride?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
