Dexter is a young cat with a heart full of potential. At just one year old, he’s already come a long way from his timid beginnings. While he’s still a little cautious in new situations, he’s steadily learning that the world isn’t such a scary place — especially when it’s filled with gentle voices, cozy spots, and kind people.

Dexter will need a patient and calm home where he can continue to grow at his own pace. He may take a little time to settle in, but once he feels safe, he reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. Watching him gain confidence and trust is a truly rewarding experience.

He would do best with someone who is familiar with cat behaviour and understands the needs of a shy or nervous cat. A quiet home without young children will help him feel secure as he continues to blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be.
