Hi there, my name is Chase, and I’m a sweet and affectionate Cattle Dog cross looking for a specific forever home that understands me and can give me the time and space I need to settle in.

I’m a large breed boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people—nothing makes me happier than being around humans, especially when we can hang out together in a quiet space or go for a stroll where I can take in the world at my own pace.

If I don't have my people around can feel a little unsure, so I’ll need someone who’s home all the time, so I feel safe and secure. I thrive on routine and gentle guidance and will need some help learning I'm safe and settled.

Because of some past experiences, I do need to be the only dog in the home. I’m not comfortable around other dogs, and I prefer the company of people. I’m looking for a family that understands this and can be my advocate on walks—someone who knows when to cross the road or steer us away from tricky situations. Large breed experience would be a big plus so you can help me be the best version of myself.

I’d do best in a home without young children—no kids under 15, please. I’m a big guy and need to be around people who understand how to interact with a dog of my size and temperament. I love enrichment time and really enjoy things like Kongs, snuffle mats, and long-lasting chews. Once I’m comfortable, I can keep myself entertained and relaxed.
