The name Atreyu, most famously known from "The NeverEnding Story", generally means "sons of all" or raised by all and it will take a village to raise this curious puppy who is best suited in a busy household with lots going on. Atreyu enjoys spending time exploring the house, following anybody in the house who is doing 'something'. Going to the garden to do some gardening? Check✅ , Atreyu is next to you. Going to the kitchen to grab a snack? Check✅, Atreyu is next to you.

Atreyu is currently in a home with both small and big dogs, and he loves playing with the little ones. He is a good mix of calm and energetic for those who want the best of both worlds. Mature and sensitive for his age, he is already checking all the boxes for toilet training, going to the toilet as soon as you take him out and holding his pee/poo for 8 hours overnight. He knows how to use the doggy door so will take himself out throughout the day too. He loves his toys and is happy to self-entertain with his mirage of toys but also loves his humans, so he'll enjoy a cuddle after dinner.

Atreyu has no concept of stranger danger and treats everybody he meets like his bff. He sleeps very well in his crate overnight without any dramas. This dear boy knows how to differentiate night and day, put him in the crate in the day and he will 'complain' to say 'it's not bedtime yet, let me out!', he wants to know what the humans are doing in the other room and wants to be next to them. He is very much a typical husky puppy, talkative and vocal at all the right time. He is a bit in two minds about car rides now, enjoys standing in the centre console and looking out to see where we are going, but gets a bit worried when it's time to get out of the car. If you are stopped at the lights, waiting for the lights to turn green, he will put his little head on your shoulder. He will lay down and sleep after a while into the journey. He is simply curious at the start of the journey and settles after.

Atreyu is a typical husky puppy, and future families must be prepared for the joys and pains of being a husky owner (or owned by a husky?). His amazing temperament, great socialisation at such an early age will make him the best husky out there. He is so entertaining with his little antics, you will find the day passes quickly just watching him play.
