About Fran
Meet Fran
Fran is one of five kittens surrendered to DCH after a kind lady found them and their mama in her front garden. Fran is the most lady-like kitten in the litter, very clean and serene in nature.
Fran is the shyest of the litter but once she gets to know you are a friend she is sweet and affectionate. She is not as rambunctious as her siblings but will often get roped into wrestling with them (collateral damage). Her favourite activity is to cuddle next to her hoomans and other pets, whilst getting tummy tickles and scratches behind her ear. She has a beautiful, soft tabby coat and a sweet expression on her face.
Fran enjoys dry and wet kitten food, drinking lots of water from the cat water fountain, and is litter-trained on sand, crystals and pellets (she has never gone to the toilet outside of her litter tray). She is quiet and relaxed.
Fran is microchipped and has received her first vaccination. She is scheduled for desexing on 1 June 2025. She has not shown any signs of illness whilst in DCH care. She is friendly to other kittens and cats but is untested with dogs. She has never shown any signs of aggression - she does not scratch or bite. She is respectful to clothes, shoes and furniture. Apart from being born in someone's front garden, she has stayed indoors. She is wonderful with adults and children once she is familiar with them.
If you are interested in welcoming a sweet, discerning and gentle kitten who enjoys being with her hooman family and other pets, then you should meet Fran.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
