About Sage
Meet Sage
Sage is one of five kittens surrendered to DCH after a kind lady found them and their mama in her front garden. Sage is the friendliest of the litter, always up for playing and petting even if it is the first time he is meeting you.
Sage is the consummate politician. He is always the first of the litter to meet new people and play with them. He loves to zoom up cat trees and wrestle with his siblings and big cats. He loves to sleep in your arms or on your lap. He has a beautiful, soft tabby coat that has a calming effect on anyone who pets him.
Sage enjoys dry and wet kitten food, drinking lots of water from the cat water fountain, and is litter-trained on sand, crystals and pellets (he has never gone to the toilet outside of his litter tray). He is quiet and very relaxed.
Sage is microchipped, desexed, and has received his first vaccination. He has not shown any signs of illness whilst in DCH care. He is friendly to other kittens and cats but is untested with dogs. He has never shown any signs of aggression - he does not scratch or bite. He is respectful to clothes, shoes and furniture. Apart from being born in someone's front garden, he has stayed indoors. He is a frequent visitor to a nearby aged care facility to brighten the residents' day. He has even fallen asleep in the arms of the residents, thoroughly enjoying all the attention he gets. He is wonderful with adults and children.
If you are interested in welcoming a super-friendly, playful and cuddly kitten who loves to meet new people as well as cherish his hooman friends and pets, then you should meet Sage.

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
