About Bert
Bert is a typical puppy - fun-loving, cuddly, sweet, sassy, cheeky, and playful - check out his video to see what we mean.
He and his siblings were rescued along with their sweet mum after the mid-north coast floods. His mum (who's been adopted!) is a chocolate kelpie cross, and we suspect his dad was a black lab or similar (as a guess only) - so you can expect him to be smart, food-motivated, and people-oriented.
Like any puppy, Bert will need training to teach him how to be the best boy he can be. He would slot into many households - so long as he receives plenty of attention and is integrated in family life, and has someone home more often than not. He'd love a doggy sibling but it's not essential, he's a confident boy on his own.
Since he still has puppy needle-sharp teeth and is a wriggly mess, he'd be best-suited to a family without infants/toddlers.
Please enquire about meeting him and his siblings (all nearly identical) in Helensburgh NSW.

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
