Jake

Jake is a loving dog, who needs good exercise and someone to love him back. He can fetch a ball and frisbee and loves to swim. He's very good with children, but due to his age if he gets too excited is still mouthing (not biting) but will stop when commanded. Commands he knows and obeys are sit, wait, leave, down. Walking on a leash still needs improvement as i have not had the time. He will wait until he is told to eat, i have got him up to approx 5mins. He is showing the potential as a great guard dog (without the aggression) he will bark if someone comes, very loud deep bark, stops on command. He has shown no aggression towards other dogs, but has never met a cat, so is an unknown quantity there. He does show an interest in the chooks, but has not harmed them, just follows them around the garden. He does not jump up or try to knock over small children. He is used to baths and loves being brushed. House trained, but can be left outside without crying. He will "knock" on the door if he wants to come in. Will not enter the home unless invited. I can leave the door open and he will just sit and wait. Jake is very intelligent and easily trained, he has potential for agility and i feel he would enjoy it. He follows the children on the climbing gyms and had used the slide on his bottom when he was smaller. He enjoys a jump on the trampoline too. Bad habits - none really just the usual puppy stuff - like chewing, digging. Can be destructive if bored, like any dog or child
diet is dry food for breakfast, meat,veg, dry for dinner. Cook necks, bones, pigs ears. There is nothing this dog has not eaten, not fussy
