Hello lovely humans! I am Lucy Lou, and I’m just as sweet as my name suggests.

I’m a nearly 12-year-old black greyhound with a beautiful sugar-grey snout that shows off my wisdom and charm. Don’t let my age fool you though - I still have plenty of sparkle and joy to share!

When it’s walk time, you will see my youthful excitement burst through! I can’t help but do my happiest, jumpiest little dance - it’s pure joy in motion. I’m great on the lead and adore heading out to explore the world (and maybe collect a few pats along the way).

I adore humans of all kinds, big and small. I can’t resist saying hello to new friends on my walks. I’ll gently sidle up to strangers for pats, sometimes even poking my snoot right between their legs just to make sure they don’t miss me! I really am a social butterfly at heart. I’ve met some little ones before and was very gentle receiving pats from them, but I’d probably be happiest in a home with kids over five, just to keep things calm and comfy for me at this stage of life.

When you head out, don’t worry, I’m also perfectly fine with my alone time. I’ll have a nap while you’re away and greet you with a sleepy stretch and wag when you return. My foster family says I’m a delight to come home to: sweet, calm, and full of love.

I’d love to find a forever home where I can be your one and only dog. I prefer to have all the love and attention to myself (and really, who could blame me?).

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
