Hello, my name is begonia, which is fitting because I am beautiful, yet robust.

I can run like the wind, play and tease you, or I can nap through the day, and follow you wherever you go.

I like to take my treats from you very delicately, and eat my breakfast and dinner without making a mess.

I can use a doggy door, or ask you to go outside when I need to, but I can be a little nervous of the dark outside, cause I’m just a little girl.

I don’t bark very much at my foster carers house, only if the big dogs bark first (I like to back them up you see).

I sleep all night from my escapades through the day, and will wait nicely until you get out of bed in the morning,to give me breakfast.

I like a soft toy, but my favorite is to chew on a lovely kong. My teeth are in very good condition, as my former owner took very good care of me.

I do have arthritis in my right front leg, but my foster mum gives me hip and joint powder in my food every day, which has made a nice difference for me.

I realise I sound amazing…because I am.

Begonia’s carer says :

This little twinkle is a delight.

She will take a while to come around at first, but once she does, she just adores you.

Begonia is very food orientated, so training her to your ways will be simple. Just show her the treat jar!! - definitely not a picky eater.

She is very good at toileting, however as with all dogs in a new situation, expect the odd accident.

She likes other dogs that don’t get in her space, but will be a better only dog. However, should you have another small dog that is easy going in nature, and a bit older, she would probably be quite good.
