About Bruiser
Meet Bruiser! đŸ
1.8-year-old Labrador x | Full of Beans & Big Smiles
Say hello to Bruiser - a bouncy bundle of love, energy, and tail wags! At just 1.5 years old, this Kelpie mix is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of play into your life. Bruiser is a happy-go-lucky guy who thrives in an active environment and is always up for a game of chase, tug, or zoomies in the yard.
He's the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into adventures. Whether it's sprinting at full speed, wrestling with a canine buddy, or getting some belly rubs after a busy play session, Bruiser puts his whole heart into everything he does.
Bruiser would absolutely love to join a family with another dog - he plays well with other pups and really lights up with a four-legged friend around. He'd do best with people who enjoy fast-paced fun and don't mind a little extra energy (and a lot of love) in their lives.
Bruiser is young, and his play style is more suited t older kids who can invite Bruiser into their games - this boy doesn't like to be left out of the action!
Bruiser is house trained and sleeps inside - and once inside, he will take advantage of the comfy couch and will switch into stand-by mode.... then you will get to see the calm side of this golden boy.
If you're looking for a loyal, lively companion to share your days and adventures with, Bruiser's your boy!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
