- Ziggy is going to be your best friend. He loves to be with you no matter what you’re doing. He loves watching water go down the drain in the shower and doesn’t mind getting his big feet wet in the process.
- If you’re outside gardening he will be right there with you helping you weed or dig a hole.
- Sitting with you watching telly in the evening is one of his favourite pastimes.
- He will purr like a freight train when you give him a cuddle or scratch, he loves attention.
- Ziggy gets on very well with other cats and isn’t too bothered by dogs company either.
- He loves kids and anyone else who is willing to spend time playing with him. Ziggy has lots of energy and is a keen chaser of balls. He is a furry bundle of fun.
PLEASE NOTE: I have had my 1st kitten vaccination. Conditions of my adoption are that I have my 2nd kitten vaccination in the 2nd week of July 2025 (if adopted prior) and am sterilised and microchipped at the age of 6 months in September 2025 (if adopted with my sister Star, one of us must be desexed at the age of 4 months in mid-July to avoid pregnancy). These procedures must be done at a SAFE approved vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury and are covered in the adoption fee. If you live outside of these areas, the adoption fee will be adjusted to cover the costs of these procedures at SAFE approved vet clinics in other areas.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
