- Star is a soft gentle soul. She is the kind of cat who will sit quietly in your lap enjoying having her head scratched or letting you run your hand along her back. She will sit with you while you work and is just happy to be in your company.
- Star has the softest fur and beautiful markings. She loves to play with dangly toys, they are her favourite.
- At first Star can be a little timid around other animals especially dogs. She takes her time to warm to new comers. Once she’s made friends she plays happily and enthusiastically.
- Star would probably be best suited in a quiet household with maybe another one or two cats for company. Her brother Ziggy is her best friend.
PLEASE NOTE: I have had my 1st kitten vaccination. Conditions of my adoption are that I have my 2nd kitten vaccination in the 2nd week of July 2025 (if adopted prior) and am sterilised and microchipped at the age of 6 months in September 2025 (if adopted with my brother Ziggy, one of us must be desexed at the age of 4 month in mid-July to avoid pregnancy). These procedures must be done at a SAFE approved vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury and are covered in the adoption fee. If you live outside of these areas, the adoption fee will be adjusted to cover the costs of these procedures at SAFE approved vet clinics in other areas.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
