Hi, my name is Zander, I’m a loving and sensitive boy who loves giving and receiving affection, and feels everything deeply.
I am a calm and gentle soul who adores connection. I treasure sharing a routine with my hooman: sitting on your lap when you drink your morning tea, window-watching birds while you meditate or enjoy a quiet moment, helping with the laundry or putting away groceries, and ending the day curled on your lap for movie-time cuddles, complete with gentle purrs and grateful eyes — my foster mamma is in love with my big black eyes, and my little fangs; she says I look like a cartoon brought to life.
And when I look at you, I promise you’ll feel the softness of my heart. I’m here for connection and companionship. I’m here for the hooman who feels like home.

Zander is one of the most soulful cats I’ve ever met. His energy is incredibly intuitive — he mirrors his person with a rare emotional sensitivity, making him an ideal companion for someone who values inner peace, gentle routines, and quiet connection. He would thrive with a human who enjoys a life lived with intention, someone who is open-hearted and ready to bond deeply.
He’s not obsessed with toys — what he wants most is interaction: learning tricks with you, gentle wrestling, and playing hide and seek. When you’re doing house chores, no bag, basket, or cardboard box will be left unclaimed — he will jump into it and call it his new favorite spot.
He may take a little time to fully trust, but once he does, the bond becomes profound — he truly becomes a soul companion. He deserves a forever home filled with warmth, softness, and emotional connection. A place where he can give all the love he carries, and receive the safe, steady love he has always been waiting for.

BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.
Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please clink here https://forms.gle/SYpMrMYzHV5pSLhH7 to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
