About Pancake
*In foster care in North Parramatta, Sydney*
Pancake may be small, but she’s full to the brim with energy, confidence and charm! This social butterfly loves humans and other cats alike, and she’s not shy about letting her feelings known with her big voice and even bigger purr :)
Like most young kittens, Pancake adores a good play session, whether it involves wrestling her sister Maple Syrup, chasing a string toy or racing up and down the cat tree. She has an explorer’s spirit and will find every last nook and cranny in a given space, and scale every piece of furniture she can!
But once she’s tired herself out, Pancake becomes a proper snuggle bug, on the hunt for a good long cuddle with her special humans. We think she'd be a great match for virtually any type of cat-loving home, including those with children and/or other pets!
Like all Maggie's pets, Pancake is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: … will have a wonderful human (or two or five!) for me to smooch on and play with, and another cat (maybe my sister?) so I have a friend to hang out with. I don’t like being shut away from my family, so a house where I can roam where I please (and sleep on all the beds!) would be purrfect!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! Not unusual for a cat my age - I'll probably settle down a bit once my kitten days are behind me. Right now though, having toys and friends to play with is essential for my happiness and healthy development.
As well as the usual cat toys, towers and scratchers, baskets and bookshelves are some of my favourite places to explore. I even inspected the bag of kitty litter VERY thoroughly once, with my little orange face peering out and surprising my foster carer!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven’t met any children yet, but I’m a confident and gentle cat. With the right introduction and handling I could do great with kids!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Excellent for cats! I get along wonderfully with my sister Maple Syrup, who I’m being fostered with. (If you'd like to consider adopting us together, here's her profile for you to check out: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1129327) I’m still getting to know the resident cats in my foster home, but I’m really good at giving them space while they adjust to us – and I’ve even managed to sneak a cuddle or two!
I haven’t met any dogs yet, but given my confidence I reckon I could make it work.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
