About McLaren
*In foster care in Bondi Junction, Sydney*
Highly affectionate and full of personality, McLaren is all zoom, no gloom!
This gorgeous kitten loves chasing toys, romping through the house, climbing and exploring his foster home - but after a session of morning acrobatics, he’s more than ready to curl up for a long nap on your lap or in a sunny spot :)
While McLaren thrives on interaction with both humans and other cats and enjoys being part of the household action, he's got quite a chill vibe going on. He'll thrive in a home that can offer regular playtime and companionship, balanced with plenty of calm and cosy downtime.
If you’re looking for a little shadow with a huge heart and a love for both cuddles and chaos, this darling boy might just be your perfect match!
Like all Maggie's pets, McLaren is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with attentive humans (and a playful resident cat or two!) to shower me with love and keep me company. I'm used to having someone around most of the time, but I'll be just fine with a feline friend if you're out during the day.
A peaceful sort of household with just one or two people would be awesome - but I reckon family life might be heaps of fun too, as long as I've got safe places to sneak off to when the bustle gets a bit too much. I'm open to any type of adoring home, really!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: ... is moderate, I'd say. My intense bursts of play are always followed by sweet snuggles at your side!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I'd enjoy living with kids aged 4+ who know how to be gentle and respectful of animals. I like spending time with the young child in my foster home, especially in the afternoons when she returns from daycare :)
Though I'm playful and affectionate, I also value my quiet time and would do best with children who can understand when I need space. In a family environment, interactions that are calm, kind, and supervised would be great!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm very cat-social and nurturing, so I'd be incredibly excited to have a friendly, playful feline companion in my new home! I'm the kind of kitten who not only enjoys a good wrestle and chase, but will also happily groom my feline pals and curl up next to them for a cosy nap.
I've not been tested with dogs at this stage, so slow introductions to a calm, cat-friendly dog would be essential if you've got one!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
