About Ruby
Meet Ruby, a charming 12-year-old dog amstaff x with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Though she's been through some recent changes and is understandably a bit stressed, Ruby's gentle nature and warm spirit shine through. This seasoned lady needs a calm and nurturing environment where she can decompress and feel secure once more.
Ruby has recently learned to play with toys, and whilst she has grown up with children (see videos) we think a quieter home with dog savvy children would be best as we think too much activity in a home could stress her unnecessarily at this point in time.
This huge change in her life ending up in foster care and moved from NSW after her family were going to send her to the pound, has caused her stress when too much activity is going on. She must be able to be allowed to decompress.
Ruby is both house-trained and crate-trained.
While she may need time to rebuild her trust, Ruby promises to reward her new human with unyielding loyalty and companionship. Her ideal home is one where she can be the sole recipient of love and attention, giving her the chance to thrive in a peaceful and patient environment.
For those willing to open their heart and home to her, Ruby offers the gift of companionship and a unique bond shaped by her gentle spirit and irresistible charm.
Consider welcoming Ruby into your home and help her rediscover the safety and joy she so deserves. If you're inspired to make a difference, please fill out the application form to start your journey with Ruby today.
At this stage we are looking for a foster carer, or a potential foster to adopt as foster carer will get first option of adoption when the time is right.
