About Marley
Marley is a charming lilac French bulldog who is sure to steal your heart with her sweet and patient demeanor. At only 2 years old, she has already mastered the art of canine companionship, effortlessly getting along with people and fellow dogs of all ages. Her kindness is sure to bring warmth to your household, making her the perfect friend for those seeking a gentle and loving addition to their family.
Despite her bubbly personality, Marley has a sensitive tummy that requires a bit of understanding. Through a consistent and special diet, Marley's digestion stays on track, allowing for nearly 95% of her bathroom breaks to happen outdoors on grass. However, patience and consistency with her meal plan will go a long way in helping her maintain this routine. While treats might be tempting, it's best to keep her diet simple and steady to ensure her comfort and well-being.
Marley's quiet presence is incredibly reassuring, and she's a delight to be around, whether you're enjoying a peaceful day at home or out for a leisurely walk in the park. Her sociable nature shines through in every interaction, making her a joy at social gatherings or during cozy evenings cuddled on the couch. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will greet each day with a wagging tail and a gentle heart, Marley is ready to fill your life with love and warmth.
Medical notes
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
Marley has almost complete control of her rectal sphincter- her bottom- but sometimes it’s a little sensitive and she can poop without realising. 95% of the time she poops outside on the grass but occasionally a small poop may be dropped on the way. Keeping her stools firm on her royal canin hypoallergenic minimises any accidents- and let’s be honest, many frenchies poop inside on purpose 😵💫. Marley actually tries not to.
