Ollie is a very sweet and gentle soul who can be shy around people but does not have a mean bone in his little body.

Sadly Ollie was on a list of cats due to be put down at a shelter but luckily, thanks to some amazing people, we were able to get him out of there and he's now living the good life with his new foster family.

He was very shy initially but his foster mum has done an amazing job showering him with love and building his trust. It has taken a month but Ollie has now started to play and is somtimes happy to accept pats.

Ollie has his own safe space in nice big enclosure but is spending more and more time exploring his foster home and hanging out with his foster brothers and sisters. He clearly enjoys their company.

We would love to find Ollie a home with an experienced cat owner who is willing to give him the time and love he needs to come out of his shell. Building Ollie's trust is going to be a slow process but we a sure there is a sweet and affectionate cat waiting to blossom in the right environment.

Ollie also loves being around other cats so if you have an existing cat, slightly older than him, that would be ideal. Having a big brother or sister who could take Ollie under their wing and show him the ropes would help his confidence immensely.

Ollie is approximately 6 months old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
