Timmy is a very sweet and gentle soul who has a big heart and a lot of love to give.

Timmy came to us from a shelter where he was sadly on a list of cats to be PTS for being too timid. But luckily, thanks to some amazing people, we were able to get him out of there and he's been living the good life with his foster family ever since.

He was quite shy when he first arrived but his foster family did an amazing job building his confidence and he's now one of the sweetest, most affectionate and most social cats you'll ever meet.

He adapts very quickly to new environments and before long he's all purrs and cuddles.

Timmy loves to follow you around, will rub up against your legs, loves a pat and a scratch and has the most beautiful little meow that comes out when he's in the mood for attention.

He's not sure about being picked up, but we're working on this, and he's not a lap cat just yet but we're sure this will come with time. Once he has a chance to settle into his new home we don't think it will be long before he's sitting on the couch next to you.

Timmy is also incredibly cat social and LOOOOOVES other cats! The second he was introduced to the other cats in our care he was rubbing up against everyone wanting to be friends.

He has a very gentle, non-dominant personality and just wants to be everyone's friend. We would love to find him a home that has an existing cat around his age that he can follow around like a bad smell. He really needs a brother or sister who he can lean on and who can show him the ropes in his new home. Timmy is very much monkey see monkey do so if your cat is happily jumping up on your bed for a cuddle Timmy won't be far behind.

Timmy is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
