Introducing Piggy, one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. She's also as sassy as she is affectionate and has the personality to go with her good looks.

Piggy was found as a stray kitten wandering around in a backyard and the lovely person who found her decided to take her in and show her a good life. They raised her from a kitten, treated her with love and showed her that living a life of luxury indoors was the way to go.

But unfortunately after a couple years they found themselves in a position where they could not longer look after this little sweetheart. They had to move interstate for work and could not take her along so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home.

She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Piggy is a very sweet and affectionate little lady who just adores human company. She loves a pat and a scratch, enjoys a cuddle and always wants to be part of whatever you are doing. She has settled into her foster home quickly and is enjoying the attention of her foster family.

She is used to being around other cats so would be fine in a multi-cat household. After an initial separation period Piggy has met the resident cat and they are quickly becoming good friends.

And she will not waste any time finding the most comfortable spot in the household and claiming it as her own. She loves to sleep on you bed so you will often find her there snoozing away and looking adorable.

If you're looking to add a gorgeous little soul to your home then Piggy may well be the cat for you.

Piggy is approximately 2.7 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
