Cornelius hasn’t always had it easy, but you’d never know it from the gentle, sweet boy he’s becoming. At first, he can be a little reserved, watching from a safe spot until he knows you’re a friend. But the moment you bring out a treat? His soft side shines through — complete with happy purrs and even a cheeky little pat.

He’s really come into his own in foster care, growing braver each day and learning that people mean kindness, comfort, and snacks. Cornelius is especially fond of his feline foster pals and would love a home with another friendly cat to keep him company.

Tuna is his absolute weakness — open a can or a treat tube and he’ll be right there by your side. You’ll often find him quietly following you around, and at night he’ll happily snooze at your feet. Cornelius enjoys affection on his terms and prefers not to be picked up, but he’s very happy to stay close, play with wand toys, and share quiet companionship. If you’d like cuddles, treats are your golden ticket, but bring your patience too.

Cornelius is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence at his own pace. With time, he’ll reward you with his trust, his companionship, and his gentle heart.
