About Bailey
Bailey is a beautiful young lady with a heart full of love—just waiting for the right person to help her shine.
While she can be a little cautious when meeting new people, once she trusts you, Bailey becomes an affectionate and cuddly companion who loves being close to her person.
She thrives with structure and consistency, so a calm home with a predictable routine and regular, positive training will help her grow in confidence.
Bailey responds best to a firm but gentle guiding hand—someone patient and committed to helping her feel safe and secure in the world.
Because she’s still learning to navigate life, Bailey is best suited to a home without other dogs, cats, or young children. With the right match, Bailey has so much love to give—and so much potential to blossom.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion to grow with, support, and love deeply, Bailey might just be the one for you.
Bailey is currently in training to help her gain some much needed life skills.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
