🐾 Meet June – Your Energetic & Loving New Best Friend! 🐾
June is a sweet and spirited 7-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life. She’s friendly, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure – especially if it involves a walk!
This bright young girl is still a work in progress when it comes to training, but she’s making strides every day. She’s crate trained and is learning how to be calmer with gentle guidance and consistency.
June adores children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though her playful energy can be a bit boisterous at times. She’s learning to be more mindful and gentle as she grows. She’s also been exposed to goats and lambs in a controlled setting, and handled it like a pro — no reaction!

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
