Jackaroo is a handsomely unusual looking fellow, with a quirky and fun personality.

Our beautiful man was withdrawn and nervous when he first arrived in care, he still needs some patience, especially when crossing a doorway into or out of a house, but he has come out of his shell in foster care to a remarkable degree.

Jackaroo has the kindest, smartest eyes. A credit to his breeds, Cattledog X Maremma. He does prefer outside, but once hes inside will settle on his dog bed. He loves a treat, is ok on a walk once he is on his way and seems to get along with other friendly dogs, but can get stressed by full on dogs.

Our sweet boy would not suit a home with small animals or cats, he will chase them. He likes kids, but can be jumpy when he plays or gets the zoomies, so would suit a home with older kids 10 and over.

He isn't your typical cuddly dog, but loves a pat, will tolerate kisses and does love to play, especially chasey. Perhaps eventually he may be more trusting of cuddles. He also much prefers women and kids. He is currently with a man,but he is much quicker to warm to females.
