About Steve
Meet Steve – Your Next Loyal Sidekick!
At just 4 months old, little Steve has already had quite the start to life - passed from pillar to post and still coming out the other side with a heart full of hope. Now he's ready to settle in with a forever family who’ll love him, guide him, and help him become the best version of himself.
Steve is a Kelpie puppy, which means he’s got brains to burn and energy to match. He’s already showing how quick he is to learn and just needs someone willing to keep teaching him the ropes. A home where he’ll get consistency, kindness, and plenty of stimulation (mental and physical!) would be ideal.
He’s a cuddly, clever little guy who is desperate to belong. He’d love a home that will make him part of the action, include him in the daily adventure, and give him the security he’s never really had.
Steve will thrive in a home where:
He gets ongoing training and structure - he already has some basics under his belt!
There’s time for play, walks, and brain games - he's a legend on lead!
He’s treated like one of the family - he loves kids and is great with cats!
Bonus points if there’s another friendly dog to show him the ropes and teach him boundaries!
If you're looking for a bright spark to grow up alongside you, Steve is ready to be your loyal little legend.
Steve is located in QLD.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
