Roly Poly

Meet Roly Poly, a little pigeon with a whole lot of heart, and just a bit of extra personality!

This gentle lady was dearly loved by her owner, but when they had to go into aged care, she found herself in need of a new home and was brought to FFPR. From the start, we knew Roly Poly was a bit special she spins in circles, wobbles around, and isn’t the most coordinated bird you’ll ever meet. We were told she was blind, but Roly Poly surprised us by heading straight for the seed.

We now believe she has a genetic neurological condition, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life. She’s as sweet as they come, and while she might need a little extra patience during navigation, she makes up for it with endless charm and kisses.
