Due to a change in his owner’s circumstances, TJ has been cared for with deep commitment over the past year — not in a traditional home, but through daily visits, walks, meals, and companionship from a dedicated friend who adores him. 💕

He is a well-mannered and gentle boy with a cheeky, playful streak. He’s been taught to wait patiently for his meals, responding to the commands “sit, wait, break” — the last one with a little wrist flick to let him know it’s time to eat. He takes treats softly from your hand and enjoys the comfort of clean blankets and fresh bedding. ✔

TJ’s favourite things? Tummy rubs, smooches, soft toys (which he proudly tosses around), and rolling on his back for attention. 🧸

When he drinks water and sometimes prefers to flip his food bowl and eat off the ground — a quirky habit that just adds to his charm. 💧

He’s great on the lead, especially with familiar walkers, and though he’s a big boy who doesn’t always realise his strength, he’s respectful and eager for connection. 🦮

He gets especially excited when he sees new people — lowering his head, tail wagging, hoping for a friendly pat. 🐾

TJ has never been around children or other dogs, so it’s important that any introductions be made slowly and carefully if they arise. 🐶

He has been used to one-on-one human companionship and may do best in a home where he is the only pet, receiving all the love and attention he’s missed. 🧡

Since moving temporarily to a bigger space with more stimulation (birds, people, and a balcony to roam), TJ has become more alert and curious. He’s been alone for a long time, so the new surroundings have brought out his excitable side. 🤪

TJ has a thick coat and doesn’t enjoy hot summer days, so he thrives in cooler weather and shaded spots. ⛄

He is also respectful of your space — he’ll wait at the door until invited in, showing just how thoughtful he really is. 👀
